Purpose:

The Senior Planning Engineer will manage planning, scheduling, and progress control for large-scale infrastructure projects. The role supports the Construction Manager in ensuring contractor schedules, procurement plans, and milestone targets are aligned with project requirements for timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review contract documents, contractor site setup, and planners’ CVs; advise the Construction Manager on any gaps or issues.
• Approve and coordinate design and procurement plan to ensure they match the overall project plan.
• Track construction progress through site visits and reports; check milestones and resources and suggest corrective actions if needed.
• Assess recovery plans, time impact claims, and design changes; recommend solutions to avoid delays.
• Prepare monthly progress reports, presentations, and meeting agendas, highlighting risks and schedule updates.
• Review commissioning and closeout plans to ensure compliance with project requirements and management expectations.

• Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BSc or higher).
  • Minimum 15 years overall experience, with at least 10 years in planning for complex construction projects.
  • Extensive experience in PMC/Consultancy or client representative roles is highly desirable.
  • Expert proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and project planning tools.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
  • Available in UAE / Immediate joiners preferred.
