The Construction
Claims Specialist supports the Contracts & Claims Department. The role
focuses on dispute resolution, claims preparation, and entitlement assessments.
Job Description:
Analyze and manage disputes, claims, and
scheduling delays across multiple projects.
Prepare, Assess and justify Extensions of
Time (EoT) due to delays, disruptions, and inefficiencies.
Define contract notification requirements,
establish compliance systems, and prepare defences for counterclaims.
Identify risks affecting project timelines
and costs, providing proactive strategies to minimize claims.
Conduct delay analysis, production rate
evaluations, and work cycle assessments using Primavera P6.
Assist in arbitration procedures and
develop negotiation strategies for complex claims.
Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Engineering from an accredited
University, further studies are desirable.
Professional qualifications such as MSc in
Construction Law & Arbitration, MCIArb or similar equivalents are
desired but not essential.
Shall have not less than 10 years’
experience in a similar position.
Strong skills using Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and Access, as well as scheduling software such as Primavera
and Microsoft Project.
A history of delivering delay analysis
commissions including schedule analysis and report writing.
